gertie adelaido is a non-binary open channel, sound experimentalist, artist, and meta-punk & ADHD-core creator. Through the heart of chaos, they combine different forms of harsh noise and raw experimental sound with their hardcore, metal & screamo roots, contemporary electronics, and drums, blending it all into a cohesive sonic experience.

gertie’s work can be something of a troublemaker, too experimental for hardcore and too hardcore for experimental music. The result, however, is a unique genre crossover and an expression of the contexts in which it exists. They scream, sing, and modulate their voice, but most importantly, they spread a message and fight for human and animal rights, all accompanied by a harsh yet fragile melancholy.

Their debut album IMMORTALITY BETWEEN PARANOIA & VIRUS was released on February 6, 2026, via US independent label Damien Records. gertie had already performed almost the entire album live, including alongside Xiu Xiu, Leya, and Dreamcrusher, as well as at Creepy Teepee, Fluff Fest, No Glucose Festival, and beyond.
